Busy Bee Detailing is a remote car detailing service that aims to provide the highest quality possible to it's customers vehicles for a fair price point.
The logomark represents the service's quick and quality work through the representation of a bee in the shape of a hexagon, showcasing wax. As wax is an essential part to making the vehicles appearance "pop," the client wanted that aspect to be showcased in the same illustration while also capturing the busy bee aspect.
The colours of navy and yellow compliment and contrast between each other to make the logomark and type more eye-catching. The typeface was chosen because the "B" has a similar look to bees wings, further representing the service's purpose.
