The Cannes Film Festival, previously known as the International Film Festival until 2003, is an annual event in Cannes, France, that showcases new films from various genres, including documentaries, from around the globe.
This project was aimed specifically at the short film called 'The Neighbors' Window'. The cover page illustrates dominoes, which are used to symbolise the repetitive cycle of the neighbors stalking each other in the movie.
The green eyes glowing through the small window are to represent the green-eyed monster's jealousy towards what the other neighbors have and don't have.

THREE CONCEPT IDEATIONS
INITIAL CONCEPT
In the initial concept, the design was made using photography as the primary image for the cover. Using a collage of photos onto the domino pieces and integrating them as the two neighbors' windows.

Additionally experimenting with the type by adding a drop shadow, which later decided to ideate more concepts that were illustrated instead.
