Stacks is a mobile app that reimagines access to the Michael O’Connor Poster Collection. With a TikTok-inspired vertical scrolling interface, it offers a seamless and engaging solution for exploring over 2,800 posters. This intuitive design makes discovering and interacting with the collection both simple and captivating.

INTERACTIVE PROTOTYPE
Before starting the research and design phase of the project, we visited the local gallery to experience the collection firsthand and observe how it was presented to in-person viewers. The posters were displayed in a way that was highly inconvenient, requiring visitors to sift through stacks to find specific pieces—this inspired the name of our app, "STACKS." Our app addresses the issue of cluttered posters by introducing filtering options and organized sections, making exploration effortless and enjoyable.

PERSONAS & JOURNEY MAP

Stacks was a collaborative project that leveraged the unique skills of our team to create a cohesive and engaging app experience. I designed the shop sections alongside icons and the user profile. Jurgis Plankis managed team roles, assigned tasks, and led the app's layout design and the creation of the design system. Ronan Chin developed the app's identity, crafting its visual branding. Together, we brought the vision of Stacks to life.
